Do small things with great love: Mother Teresa
To the Good God nothing is little, because He is so Great & we so small that is why he stoops down & takes the trouble to make those little things for us. To give us a chance to prove our love for Him
Because he makes them they are very Great
Be faithful in little practices of love, of little sacrifices, of the little interior modifications, of little fidelities to rule, which will build in you the life of holiness, make you christlike.
Do not look for big things, just do small things with great love, the smaller the thing the greater must be our love.

The King's speech
Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown,
and he replied "Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God.
That shall be to you better than light, and safer than an unknown way. May that almighty Hand guide and uphold us all".
Poem written by : Louise Haskins
Christmas speech delivered by King George VI.

The World's Greatest Salesman
Fred Herman has been called the "Greatest salesman who ever lived."
Fred went on the Tonight Show. Johnny Carson asked him to sell him the ashtray on his desk.
Fred asked Johnny, "What do YOU like about this ashtray?"
Carson said it matched the brown color of his desk, it was octagonal and fulfilled the need for a place to put his ashes.
Then Fred asked, "How much would you be willing to spend for a handsome brown octagonal ashtray like that one?"
"Maybe $20," said Johnny.
"Sold!" said Fred.

If you have a conflict with someone you love, really consider how he or she feels as much as you can even if you do not agree.
You need to first and foremost do what you believe is right but sometimes giving a lot of thought to what a loved one feels will significantly affect what you believe is right. Sometimes getting your way really isn't worth it.

How good can a wine be if it is cheap ?
Read an interesting article on Wine and money by Matt Kramer in wine spectator magazine :
One of the great myths about wine and money : How good can a wine be if it is cheap ?
The actual cost of producing an indisputably great wine is surprisingly small ($15 a bottle for everything to do with creating and bottling a first growth Bordeaux or a fancy Napa cabernet wine.)
The wines are priced higher due to the following reasons:
1) Marketing costs and overheads.
2) Emerging wine nations like Portugal, Chile, Hungary, South Africa, Greece, Argentina feel that unless and until wines are dressed in high price, nobody will believe how good their wines are.
3) Consumers value more what costs them more. So, better to charge as high a price as possible.
Price and quality co-relations exist at lower price points e:g $15 to $20 a bottle. But above that level, the relationship between wine quality and high price is a marriage of convenience: your lust and their calculation.
Retailers minimize the stock of inexpensive wines, because margins on inexpensive wines are slim & shelf space is limited.
Moreover there is more money in selling high priced wines, so since retailers are in business to make money, they do not like to stock inexpensive wines.
After all why would you pay $40 for a bottle if you are tantalized by something selling for $10? And once the consumer discovers how good the $10 bottle is, he will not buy the $40 wine. So in every sense, there is no money in selling cheap wine.

Tiffany painting
The painting is of a newly married beautiful young lady named Tiffany :
Tiffany is resting in her village and cooling herself with a hand operated fan. Her garments, her jewelry around the neck, on the forehead show that she has elegant taste. But her face reveals that responsibilities are on the top of her mind

Mother Teresa wrote "I was surprised to see so many young boys & girls given to drugs. And I tried to find out why. And the answer was:
Because in the family there is no one to receive them.
Our children depend on us for everything i:e their health, their mission, their nutrition, their security etc.
For all of this they look to us with trust, hope and expectation.
Hence, don't neglect your family. Be at home. If today so many young people are misled, it is because the grandparents are in some institution, mother is so busy that she is not there when the child comes home from school.
There is nobody to receive them or play with them and they go back into streets where there are drugs & drinks & so many other things.
It is the same everywhere.
Everything depends how much we love one another.
