The Natural Sapphire Company recently unveiled a case for Apple’s new
iPad Mini that is crafted of 18-karat white gold and covered in 3,328
natural Ceylon blue sapphires totaling 599 carats, with 50 diamonds on
the Apple logo.
This sapphire-covered accessory (below) sells for $700,000, “or just three easy installments of $233,333.33,” the company says, and costs about 2,127 times the iPad Mini, which retails for $329.
