Recipe for Homemade Irish Cream Liqueur
Ingredients:
5 ounces high-quality milk chocolate, chopped
1 1/2 cups Irish whiskey
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon instant coffee
Directions:
Melt chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring until totally smooth.
Add to a large bowl and whisk in a few tablespoons of whiskey, stirring until combined. It may separate a bit, which is fine.
Whisk in the condensed and evaporated milks until smooth and creamy, then whisk in the remaining whiskey, instant coffee and cream.
The instant coffee and chocolate may not totally dissolve at first, but it will as it sits.
Pour mixture in a large pitcher, bottle or a few separate jars and refrigerate. This is best after it sits for a few days, but you can drink it immediately also.
Just make sure to shake and stir the mixture every few hours (or even once/twice a day) so everything dissolves and mixes together. Serve on the rocks or in coffee!
Yield: makes about 5 cups Total Time: 10 minutes

Mother Teresa on Giving
Mother Teresa on Giving
We must give what will cost us something. This, then is giving,
not just what we can live without but what we cannot live without or we don't want to live without, something we really like.
Then our gift becomes a sacrifice, which will have value before God.

Kashmiri Chai Tea
Kashmiri Chai Tea
Powdered almonds make this chai a little bit nutty, and you can really taste the cinnamon and cardamom as well. If you don't have real saffron (it's very expensive) you can always leave that out.
Ingredients:
1 tsp loose tea
4 cardamom pods, bruised
1 small cinnamon stick, broken up
Saffron threads, a pinch
4 cups water
2 tbs finely powdered almonds
Honey, to taste
Preparation:
Mix everything except honey and almonds in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and let tea steep for 5 minutes. Put a teaspoon of almonds in the bottom of each cup, and pour hot tea over. Sweeten with honey to taste.

•1/2 cup almonds

Mother Teresa on Sharing:
Accept the gifts of God and be deeply grateful. If He has given you great wealth, make good use of it, try to share it with others, with those who do not have anything.
Always share with others because even with a little help you may save them from becoming distressed.
And do not take more than you need, that's all. Just accept whatever comes.

Malala Yousafzai, touching reply on the daily show
Malala Yousafzai, the 16-year-old Pakistani advocate for womens rights and access to education, appeared on the Daily Show last night, ahead of Friday's pending announcement for the 2013 recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.
Her answer to one of Jon Stewart's questions left him speechless.
An outspoken critic of the Taliban's tactics in her native Swat Valley from a young age, Malala was the subject of an attempted assassination at the hands of a Taliban gunman because she was unafraid to speak out.
Then, at just 14 years old, a Talib fighter boarded her bus, pointed a pistol at her head, and pulled the trigger. But she survived, made a full recovery in England, and has become and transformative figure in human rights.
Now, she is poised to become the youngest Nobel Peace laureate ever.
In the key moment of the interview, Stewart asked her how she reacted when she learned that the Taliban wanted her dead. Her answer was absolutely remarkable:
I started thinking about that, and I used to think that the Talib would come, and he would just kill me. But then I said, 'If he comes, what would you do Malala?' then I would reply to myself, 'Malala, just take a shoe and hit him.' But then I said, 'If you hit a Talib with your shoe, then there would be no difference between you and the Talib. You must not treat others with cruelty and that much harshly, you must fight others but through peace and through dialogue and through education.' Then I said I will tell him how important education is and that 'I even want education for your children as well.' And I will tell him, 'That's what I want to tell you, now do what you want.'

Flossing the teeth
Flossing the teeth:
A room is well vacuumed only when you vacuum the room and also you use attachments to clean the corners, edges etc.
So if we compare cleaning a room with cleaning our mouth, then:
1) Brushing the teeth is vacuuming the room and
2) Flossing is using the attachments to clean the corners, edges etc.
Flossing helps us to get into the tight corners and crevices to clean where tooth brush cannot reach.
Some people prefer inter-dental cleaners and wooden or plastic dental picks.
While those with tightly spaced teeth prefer something that glides easily.
The best kind of floss is the floss that we will use regularly.

"AIDS patient I work with are the modern saints" Mother Teresa
"AIDS patient I work with are the modern saints" Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa was asked if she read books and works of saints
She replied: I find that God teaches us all we need to learn through our actions and our work.
But really I do not need to read many books now because constantly I am being taught by others.
The AIDS patient I work with are the modern saints, the new saints of the church.
As they grew in Jesus, their last days, hours and moments were so beautiful that for me theirs are the stories of the saints.

Judging people:
Judging people:
We never ask people why they are on the street or in their present situation:
We don't need to know their history.
We don't judge people for whatever situation they are in, because all they want is someone to love and care and they are satisfied.

Humility by Mother Teresa
Humility by Mother Teresa
-
We should have a humble and meek heart.
-
We learn humility through accepting humiliations cheerfully.
-
Do not let any chance pass you by. It is easy to be angry, self centered, selfish and condescending, but we have been created for greater things.
-
So why stoop down to things that will spoil the beauty of our hearts.
